I’m a 27 year old male living in San Diego, California. Three months ago I was in a very different place mentally than I am today.
I was seeking guidance from someone, but couldn’t trust anyone I knew to understand me on the level I needed. Everyone is willing to offer advice; unfortunately, it’s not always the best.
I’m an avid reader and have an immense love for my books that have gotten me through the hard times. I decided it was time to work with a coach and build off of the foundation of what I had learned through out the years of reading self help books.
I wanted a life coach.
I did my research and found some appealing companies—like Tony Robbins’ coaching company—that offered the services I desired.
At that time, a friend recommended P.J., so I gave him a call, and right away, I could tell P.J. spoke from his heart. I felt safe discussing my issues with him and never in the three months of working with him felt judged—no matter how pathetic or depressed I felt.
I openly discussed my PTSD, suicidal ideations, and depression with P.J. After every session I had with him, I felt lighter, more loving and, most importantly, in control of my life.
I am no longer in the passenger seat of my life. I am proud to say I have become the loving person I believe we are all meant to be!

Immediately, P.J. was just calling me out on my insecurities; in fact, he was calling me out on a lot of things. I was prepared for that because I was doing a lot of self development work—and I was so intrigued by his honesty because I'm someone who loves transformation.
I love to change!
And I love it when people are very brutally honest with me—even though it feels really hard sometimes.
P.J. doesn't say it in a mean way—he says it in a very loving and compassionate way—because he's also acknowledging your strengths. So as much as he saw where I got to improve, he also saw my heart, and he saw my potential.
